Kevin Allen

First elected in 1999, I was honoured to represent Preston Park from 2003 to 2011. Having served on many council committees, including housing, adult social care and health, my experience can help improve the local services you rely on. I am particularly looking forward to working with the many community groups in the ward, and representing your views on the council. A Labour Party member since my teens, my other interests are music and foreign languages. Then there are grandchildren...

Julie Cattell

As a Preston Park resident, my children went to local schools, and I was active in their Parents Associations. I am also a Town Planner by profession with a commitment to sustainable housing; I ran my own consultancy for 9 years. I believe that only a Labour council will deliver the basic functions that our city needs, like reliable refuse and recycling collections and prioritisation of services for the vulnerable. As a Labour councillor, I would listen to you and work hard to resolve local issues.

Neil Schofield

I am a former civil servant, now working for a charity events consultancy near Preston Circus. I want to be part of a Labour team making a real difference in Preston Park and across the city. As a councillor, I will use my professional background in transport policy, and my strong personal commitment to the environment, to listen and help our team of Labour councillors improve the city's quality of life. I am a cyclist and, outside politics, interested in classical music and photography.
